Why This Space

I'm a scientist — PhD in Genetics & Genomics — who became a communicator and operator. I've translated research for patients and families, clinicians, business executives, and general audiences seeking scientific literacy. I've also supported the business-facing side of biotech and medical innovation efforts through Upstream Solutions.

I understand both the science and the commercial & operational reality around it.

I’m particularly drawn to pharma and biotech comms because the stakes are higher here. Getting it right means patients understand their treatment options, physicians have the information they need to prescribe appropriately, and organizations can responsibly move science forward.

Also, the constraints are tighter with MLR review, competitive pressure, public health implications and more.

This is where strategic communication matters. Where clarity can improve outcomes and confusion has real life consequences. That’s the work I want to do.
