My Chat with Simply Buckhead
We talked about my career in science education and administration, which included professional development and helping students find their career paths after earning their PhD.
I talked about my move to Buckhead, and honestly, it blows my mind that my two year Atlanta-versary is approaching in a few weeks! It was a lot of fun to talk about my work with Upstream Solutions, because most of the time people are associating my work with Dope Labs.
Building Upstream Solutions
Upstream Solutions is a place where I can tie my data analytics and problem solving skills to support artists and business owners in a digital world. I fell in love with the digital landscape years ago, so I was already familiar with many of the tools that are useful in this space. I have been leveraging digital tools for years, even in my previous roles in academia. It was no different when launching Dope Labs; there was a lot of work to be done behind the scenes to help make the show was a success.
I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to craft the right message, get it in front of your desired audience, and to keep that audience engaged. I’m excited to help my clients by applying what I’ve learned.
