Rich aunties unite! (updated)

A few of my favorite things in May/June 2025! These are affiliate links. So it doesn’t cost you anything, but it does send a few pennies my way :)

Beauty, Bath, & Body

Merit Beauty Prep Set with Serum. I’m a huge fan of the serum, and now they have a travel size that you can throw in your toiletry bag. Don’t sleep!

Merit Beauty’s The Uniform

My Favorite Foundation - Dior Backstage

If you’re traveling, you might like these dry face wash squares. The Olay Melts dissolve into a foamy face wash when you wet them and they’re so much easier than trying to keep track of ounces for TSA!

I am officially a LaRoche Posay girlie, so here are some things I like from them:

Gentle Foaming Face Wash

Purifying Foaming Cleanser (if you’re oily)

Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream is for the face and body. It’s perfect for flights because that’s such a drying experience. I use it on my face.

Topicals Slick Salve

It’s basically summer, and I’m still trying to protect this skin, melanin and all. Have you seen the Vacation Classic Whip sunscreen? It’s like shaving foam meets sunscreen and very fun.

Nintendo Switch 2

Fragrance

I’ve been wanting to drop some of my favorite fragrances for a while, but what I like is so seasonal and mood-based that’s it’s hard to pin them all down.

Le Labo - Another 13 and Jo Malone’s Cypress & Grapevine for the men

Now Chanel’s Blue de Chanel is technically for men, but you can catch me layering it with my most floral scents.

MFK has a whole line ATL is sleeping on

Everyone in ATL has been wearing Baccarat into the ground, but I’m here to campaign for other fragrances from the Maison Francis Kurkdjian House.

APOM from Nordstrom or Saks - your pick; if you have a rewards credit card, sometimes there are offers that can reduce the cost

724 at Nordstrom or Saks

If you want to smell mysterious and like a Japanese forest, then I suggest Aēsop’s Hwyl. This is one of my secret depth creators. I used to only wear it in the fall and winter. Now I wear it in summer too with something light and bright to balance it out, like Prada’s Les Infusions d’Iris. If you like the woody scents, but aren’t ready to bite the bullet on Hwyl’s price tag, you could try out Salt + Stone’s Bergamot & Hinoki line which includes fragrance, body wash, and deodorant. If you’re already sold on the woody scents, you could kick it up a notch with Jo Malone’s Hinoki & Cedarwood, but that’s too rich for my blood!

Clothes & Looks

I don’t know why everything is so provincial this summer, but I’m fighting back against the multi-tiered dresses. I’ve had enough.

I found the perfect baggy ripped jeans recently. I tried them on in store but exchanged for a longer inseam. Finally a TALL pant for the long legged and short torso-ed among us.

The clog is back, and I’m not talking Birkenstocks, even though I love those too. I saw these cute wood bottom clogs that reminded me of middle school, but they didn’t have my size.
